Looking at some flights - one is with Air France and the equipment type is listed as an AT7. Closest I can find to this is an ATR-72 but it doesnt seem Air France fly any of these.

So what is it?

Cheers.

Could still be an ATR-72 operated by someone else on Air France's behalf under a code sharing agreement or such like. Where are the flights between may I ask?

You sure? That looks like an Airbus to me..?

Why not? It intruiged me and if I book I'll obviously want to know so I can fiddle around on SeatGuru.

think so.. it could well be renamed airbus cant it? i mean the only info they give is "Air France AT7" which is not really a manufacturer of the aircraft it self? :) i found some info in google.. the site is not functioning right tho

Each flight has an equipment code which helps you identify the plane used - all flights have this. The equipment code of this flight is AT7 - this definately means something to somebody in the know, I'm hoping one of those people might read this thread :p

Bristol and Paris.

Well according to Air France's website when booking directly through them, it'll be an ATR-72. Possibly operated by Air France Regionale, which to keep things interesting, is operated separately from Air France itself, even though it's a wholly owned subsidiary.

Might be piggy backing on someone elses flights... not sure how normal it is but one time when I was flying KLM they used a virgin atlantic plane that was on a return flight - between virgin services.

Interesting stuff. Is it slightly irrational that I'd rather fly Air France than Ryanair even though Ryanair is direct and takes 2 hours and Air France is via Paris, involves 5 hours in Paris, and takes 7 hours in total? :p

I'd rather fly there via australia than on ryanair...

Personally always use KLM when I can.

Not just anal with the 5 then Fox? :p

I would be going with Ryanair, even though they are pretty terrible. Ain't worth 5 hours of my life!

Hmm, I doubt you are going to be flying on an anti tank weapon..

KLM have some comfy Focker planes from BRS to AMS, but don't sit near the back, instead of window you get a side mounted engine.

Nice planes though.
