I still have an unknown device on my machine. I have no idea whatsoever what it is.

If you have Vista try using the online update facility. It might find something..

i think it is todo with the mobo, from the acpi bit of it, think i had something like that with my asus mobo, just install all the drivers from the cd or web :) should find it

I agree with eggnoodle, I think its the uguru, do you have uguru listed near the bottom of the 'System Devices' section?

Just out of curiosity whats the ia32 near the top of your devices list as I dont have that on my IP35 Pro?

ia32 - broadcom 10/100 ethernet integrated controller i think

@ mr_x_plosion, are you using Vista 64? Did you load uguru from the supplied cd? If yes then you may get problems with it, I had to download the latest uguru for Vista 64 iirc? :)

When you DL the GURU software is it a zip? Can you install the device through the driver update button on the driver tab and point it to the .ini/.inf from the driver package? (if you google the aptiXXX it seems to return guru problem)

OO have you also tried turning off all the on-board stuff then turn them back on one by one IF it disappears when they are all off?

I have it as a zip file with an .exe file to install it with :)

Some exe's can be unzipped with winrar can this? Does it install files to the hard drive in its own directory (like nVidia driver do)? If so you can use the update driver from the driver tab, also you might try pointing it at the windows32 folder (c:\windows\system32 or c:\windows\system) as the ini or inf can be copied here during its installation.
