anyone know what this error means

Start menu. Run. Type msconfig. Press Return. Click the startup tab. Disable the item that is pointing at D:\eReg.exe

eReg is usually from Logitech installers. If you want to do a proper job of sorting it out get a program called 'autoruns' from Microsoft's website.

Do you have Dragon Naturally Speaking, a Scansoft product or Nuance product installed? Any of those have that file associated and could need reinstalling.

Is the D drive your second hard drive, a removable drive or a CD drive?
