Is the redirect from .com to .co.uk meant to be on yet?

Is the redirect from .com to .co.uk meant to be on yet?

It was on, but the .co.uk site isn't alive so had to turn that off. Taking some time getting through all the DNS servers for some reason

Anyone know if it's possible to make the address bar still say .com after the redirect?
