anyone listen to arch enemy?

I have but choose not to bother, it appears to be the next 'trend' moving on from the 'core' types.. I don't see how you can label a whole genre after one guitar technique... But i'm sure some of the bands are good in their own right, just I get feaful when things become a bit 'scene'.

:)

I don't care about trends or genres or what people think, if it sounds awesome I'll listen to it and "djent" metal certainly fits that bill. (Periphery and Animals as Leaders define it for me)

Okay well, I like Animals as Leaders, how can anyone not? The guy is amazing..

I just wish stuff wouldn't get stuck under a silly label, I think it brings it down slightly.

Edit: Just looked at your sig and then your lfm.. I think i'm going to have to check out this Fredrick project.. sounds worth it!

Really liked Anthem of Rebellion but not a great deal more (We will rise riff kicks bum! - damn you swear filter)

Listened to them as a kid, but I can't really listen to them anymore. not hardcore enough and all that
