Anyone looking forward to Mirrors Edge?

I'm looking forward to this... just because it's different. As for how long the novelty will last... we'll see ;)
 
looking forward to it but i'm concerned at the possible lack of depth to the game.

Might just be an obstacle course type thing where you complete sections in fastest time possible. Hardly any mention of anything else e.g. story or other elements to the game.

One thing i will say the vertigo pwns seriously. If you are scared of heights dont buy this game :)

Yeh there is a story and it looks to be a good one... personally I think the rooftop running will keep me entertained for hours anyway as there are numerous possibilities for getting from A to B... but with a story behind it as well...
 
3rd person would have been great on it, think its one of the games that will have me (literally) reaching for the sick bucket in 1st person :(
 
I'm loving the art style and the main character looks awesome.

With so many other games around at this time of year though it may be a buy later when its a cheapy.

Hoping its got more substance than Assassins Creed.

theres a story? yes i know there are sketchy details on it.. ie you're a courier getting chased by authorities blah too early to say if its good or not. But like i said they are bigging up the "free-running" aspect of the game at the detriment at everything else. Think i'll rent it before splashing out £40 for it.
 
Should definitely be 1st person, 3rd person would have ruined the game imo. Looking forward to this one though, all the videos have looked good so far.
 
I'm really looking forward to it, I absolutely love the artistic style and if the gameplay 'works' then I think it will be something special.
 
The music, gameplay concept and art styling really are fantastic, i can't really tell much from the game other than these three things from the trailers i've seen. However, they are typically tell tale signs of a great game so i'll be keeping my eye on it, i'll reserve judgment until i've got a vague idea of how good the gameplay actually ends up being.
