Anyone made a Proton Pack before?

Evening all.

I've used the search, but not found anything interesting. I did win my works Halloween costume contest last year and was going to go as a Mummy this year, but have decided to go for a Ghostbusters outfit instead.

Now, I have seen some excellent guides on the net, but they are all using metal/foam/wood. Halloween is on Friday and I would prefer to use Boxes / Bottles / ETC and ust stick them together and spray it.

Anyone done one before? Any advice? Any decent guides anyone knows of?

More what sizes, and what shapes to use I guess. I know I could get a box and just have a go, but with it being this short notice, A guide or some decent pics/advice would be perfect.

get an old school bag and build cardboard around it, nice comfy straps

I made one. I will try find photos.

Big corn flakes box, lots of old pc fans and bits and pieces, glue, more glue, black spray paint, toilet roll tube, random other stuff....then glue down some more..... then spray some more.... then attach to back... took about 2 hours.

We also sprayed water guns black and filled them with booze

I'm going to buy a white bed sheet cut a hole in the middles slip my head through. I then get a pillow case and cut two eye holes in it. I will either look like a ghost (my plan) or a kkk member, either way i will be scary i guess!

Just cut two holes a the sheet and forget the pillow case, will reduce the risk of looking kkk

I'm utterly overwhelmed with the response from the pricks on here, you do indeed out do yourselves with useless posts to up your post count.

See below some progress pics. So far, I've sourced most of the pack's boxes/etc and laid it out. Next I need to glud it all together and spray/paint it. I'm missing one of the lights (bottle bottom) which I will get tomorrow alont with the hoover hose to attach the gun to the pack. I need to get some straps from an old bag tomorrow as well.
