:D

Haha. I see what you did there. I can tell by the pixels...

Ahh ... same thing with Mars bars
When i was a kid im sure they where friggin huge
now seems like there gone with a couple of bites

I think part of it is to do with when we get older, we are bigger so the foods are proportionally smaller. Everyones dad used to buy Wagon Wheels that were actually the size of a wagon wheel and Cream Eggs that would put wouldn't have looked out of place being incubated by a T-rex.

And forget basic walkers anyway, somebody needs to start importing those Tayto crisps from Ireland.

And on the plus side, food prices are apparently dropping, except the foods which I eat that get more expensive every few weeks.

no they really are getting smaller its not a conspiracy created by crazy people
massive giant huge bag.... few crisps in the bottom. same old.

shouldn't be allowed.
its fine for them to use huge bags but people who get a carrier bag and fill it get frowned upon for using a carrier bag.

atleast we FILL out throwaway bag

It's true over the space of a two weeks a certian deal at some supermarket I work at has changed the deal from 240gram to 170gram, still same price, same deal.

Multi-packs are the biggest con ever. I used to buy McCoys Salt 'n Vinegar from the baguette man at work, then decided it'd be cheaper to get a six pack from Tesco.

Oh no. Not only are the packs smaller weight-wise but the taste is completely different. Take S&V for instance - the multi-packs contain hardly any of it they may as well be ready salted.

It's nothing new. Even as a kid I remember people complaining about how Wagon Wheels got smaller every year. I could never stand them but if that trend continues they should probably be called Smart Car Wheels now, or something.

Space Raiders are still 10p a pack, same as they were in the 80s but you only get like 6 crisps in the pack now.

I'm well aware they are getting smaller. I said part of it is ratio and fond memories and exaggerations. If they had declined at the rate people claim over the past 40-50 years they wouldn't be visible by now.

Sometimes they matter, heinz beans and tomato ketchup spring to mind.

Only to serve to remind you that Branston and Daddies are infintely better :p

Typical weight of tins of tunafish used to be 210g or so, it's 180g now. The tins themselves haven't changed in size. Mind you this is more likely due to unsustainable fishing practices.
