Anyone on AOL Broadband?

For some reason my Dad cannot access www.krystal.co.uk or his site hosted there at www.dipakshah.co.uk

Can anyone on AOL see if they can access them please, because I cannot see ANYTHING wrong with his computer, and the problem only started on Thursday night

Yeah, that's what I get and I'm on Virgin Media. I just cant seem to work out why my Dad can't access them and whether its his machine, Krystal blocking his IP or AOL.

I'm on AOL and I can't get on AVforums or Youtube. Even phoned them up today and they are clueless.

PS. Both the sites you listed don't work for me either.

Same here, quite annoying really.

Officially it's not AOL anymore though is it? Carphone Warehouse bought out AOL UK Online and all its customer base some time last year.

Just on the phone to AOL and she told me to change the router MTU size from 1492 to 1400... that stopped every site working.

Apparently that is their resolution - I sent her to get her supervisor and find a dictionary! :mad:

They also said that they are having problems with their servers...

Yeah they've been crap... well, worse than ever since being taken over by carphone warehouse. At least there wasn't any traffic shaping before.
Neither site works for me btw.

I have no choice, I don't pay for it. ><

That allows me access to AVForums now, but all the sites mentioned in this thread are still timing out

Because when I joined with them, AOL was the only company who really did have unlimited usage.
