Anyone on O2 having problems tonight?

Hi guys,

Just wondering whether this is affecting other people or if I'm just the unlucky one.

I can't seem to send or receive texts and can't even call the 901 voicemail service. Just get 3 beeps before the call cuts off. Started having problems about 3 hours ago and have tried 2 handsets.

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I was thinking of posting it in 'Mobiles' but presumed I'd get a quicker response in here.

Oh and before anyone says it, yes I have paid my bill

I had problems with my 3g earlier, not sure if it's still playing up. I am however the other side side of the country to you though.

I've had problems with the network for the last week or so including around a 20 hour delay for receiving text messages and also no signal, I have to restart my phone every few hours.

I've been with O2 for about 4 years and it's been nothing short of awesome... until tonight.

Guess I can't complain really as these things happen from time to time.

We'll see how long it carries on for (I'm not liking the posts above

Noticed O2 have been having a fair few problems over the last few weeks, mainly around the London area though I think.

Over the past week the 3G has grinded to a halt for me. Funny enough it was about the time Skype updated to support 3G calls

Safe to assume it could be anywhere then.

I doubt I would notice any problems around here on one of my O2 phones due to the fact we have sod all signal out here in the sticks

Yep I noticed my 3G not working earlier today, but when I restarted my phone it worked fine...

It's the 2nd time in 5 years that I've ever had network issues with o2.

My 3G was playing up earlier but fine now, everything else is working fine.

I keep getting issues with the 3G. When it tries to connect it either says "packet data not available" (even though my signal is fine) or it says "web time out" (something like that) even though I have only just that second tried to connect.

Its been the last few weeks its slowly got worse. Am in Bristol.

They've been testing all sorts of stuff for the new quad band and data connection so it doesn't surprise me that there's interruptions. Mine seemed a bit slow last night but that's about it.

I had some problems yesterday, but so did people on other networks around me, voda definitely.

Texts failing, calls dropping with beep-beep-beep. So pretty usual for Mancunian O2.

(added humour was as I posted this it the first time, my o2 bb went down - again)
