Anyone owned a Xedos 9 2.3 Miller SuperCharged?

Some seem to be working now sorry. Must be a forum/browser problem.
Ahhh could be me, oriingally when I posted they were on my website, then security things now stop, so I edited the original front page with how I changed her... using imgurl... which is allowed here. Hopefully ones on the front page are now showing, that's how it looks with my two upgrades, wheels and lowering springs.

Those wheels and the ride height should be factory! that looks insanely good. Wheels fill the arches perfectly and the style really suits the car.

Totally forgot you originally gave £400 for it :D :D

Especially when you look what it was when I bought it on the factory setup... doesn't even look like the same car lets be honest!

I looked for pictures of mine but seem to have deleted them - same car same colour but mine was a dog.
Valve seals leaked as it was never returned for recall on them -Rocker covers leaked and plug holes filled with oil - Climate panel packed up and it had rust on near side rear door and wing - seems it had a accident and bodge it and scarper did the repairs. - Brakes were rubbish and stood it for two years then renewed discs and pads and they turned out to be best brakes I have ever had on a car.
I did like it though - slightly better than 626 GT V6 I had before.
Look after it Pug and you never know you might get £160k for it like that Audi Quattro that sold yesterday.

I think the only thing missing was the optional electrical pack which gave it heated seats. - You do know the USA version had a solar panel sun roof to power the aircon unit in left rear of boot - you could set it to come on at anytime when you had left it parked. :)
Nice to see it again.

Pity you can't find those piccies, would be good to see one.

So, update, the alternator needed refurb so that's been done. Picked it up yesterday and went for a 40 mile round blast to see if everything is ok. The one thing that I've noticed is WOW, how low this is compared to modern cars. Had a 3 series infront and an Audi behind me in traffic and I was sitting on the floor... I was literally looking at their bumpers. However, took her upto decent speeds, gearbox fine, engine ticking like a peach... cvan't believe how well she's running.

Also, you realise she's not th quickest nowadays, think the 0-60 21 years ago was 7.2s for this, which was alright then but today, does feel slow... however, she's not built for that... she's a cruiser and for that, she's comfy as hell. Was surprised just how many looks you get as well with people wondering the hell it is hahaha.

So, this weekend was going to sort the body and rest of mold in the car from where she's been sitting and start giving her some love!!! Well I will if it stops raining!

If it's raining tomorrow I will give my 10 yr old Focus a wash and let rain rinse it off.

They were low now you mention it but it was/is a cruiser - even if mine was ok and I still had it I couldn't afford it - it just sat on drive 6 days a week and Sunday was a 21 mpg run out. I remember coming off slip road on M54 and straight out to outside lane then it started juddering - Was in 2nd doing 80mph and rev limiter kicked in - it did rev smooth.
Shame I didn't know someone would have one and you could have had it for spares - took it to scrappy and got £250 for it.
Mine was T reg if I remember right.

What caused the engine limp home mode mate if you don't mind me asking? I'm going to be cleaning all the engine bay off this weekend and tidy it/degrease it all as well. Check all the piping as these can be a nightmare for vacuum leaks!

It didn't go into limp mode - I had it in manual and was in second gear and forgot and the rev limiter came in at red line on rev counter. I couldn't hear it revving as you know it's so quiet. - Quick change up to third cured it.
If you take off the right hand plug lead (or whatever they are called today) on back bank right up by windsreen make sure you do not let it go - mine dropped down behind the engine and bulkhead - after 10 min I had to go in and think about how to get it back up. - - Wire coat hanger bent into various bends and hook.
Good luck and show us some pic's

Well, today was new rubber weather... the Conti's that I previously had one were at their lifes end and coming into Autumn/Winter thought stuff if, lets be safe. So, Dunlops on the front and Conti's on the rear (don't ask), however drives so much differently on new rubber which is all good. Then popped to Halfords and slapped some CataClean in the tanks as I think she's suffering performance wise and think the who ful/injection/cat isn't at it's best... so slapped this in and noticed she started running better by the time I got home hoofing it on the A55 :-) so, got in, here's a couple of 2021 piccies from today in the rain... not all polished because the weather is appalling here so it'll have to wait. Just cleaned the interior properly instead.

My engine degreaser comes today, so I think eitehr later on or tomorrow will post some before and after engine shots as well as it's not pretty at the minute!

Fitted a replacement piece of piping... 21 years and this one was hot with holes in it etc etc... so, new 76mmm piping now on :-)

Then degreased the engine bay... problem I have now is removing some of this LPG install now and working what goes to what as it no longer is employed in the engine. Christ it's like spegetti.

Ok, so, since cleaning all the fueling system etc, filled up Xena and looked at the MPG... so, 200 of it was motorway, the other 116 miles were town, stop and start usual... just averaged 29.78mpg! which have to admit, I'm pretty happy with there on a car that's done 100k miles and hasn't had much running in past 9 years... also not bad considering it's stilla 2.3ltr V6 with a super charger... not exacly economincal... but getting twice what the SRT8 gets so... the way I think of it is, I'm saving money hahaha

Well, today I changed the pads on the rear as I noticed something odfd with them... after 5 years... look at the state of this... PAGID pads are gash... I pulled a set of the SRT8 that came with it last year and they crumbled in my hands... these have been on 5 years... never in 30+ years of driving have I had another set do this... absolutely appalling quality so replaced with MINTEX as I've ran these for years on the rears of all my cars... never had a problem... only reason they were on the Xedos is I had a spare set for some reason and thought they're be fine rather than buying Mintex... how wrong I was!
