This or Deus Ex Human Revolutions for the better game? I ask, even though I've already bought Deux Ex over this
DXHR by a country mile.
What about a city mile?
I am at the science lab stage in the jungle yea the city is a step up in difficulty don't be afraid to run away when you feel you are outnumbered and use jumping kick it knocks them down in one hit and stamp on their head for quick kills.
No it's much much better it plays better than it looks hard to explain but it hooks you in after a while bit like borderlands.
It's easy to play for a bit and think meh it's not very good but stick with it and you'll be hooked.
It could do with more mini boss / boss zombies though imo.

I'm enjoying this game enough solo (my friends are being tight arses and won't buy it to play with me

On my 2nd single player play through on DI, first time was real hard, but once you figure out your tactics it gets easier, I didn't struggle much on my first run until I hit the prison, Ram + Thug + 5 zombies in a narrow hallway is a death trap. Here are my methods for the 'mini-boss' guys (thugs/ram etc)
Thug: Weave in and out quickly, watch him throw a punch then go in for your attack, try use bladed weapons rather than blunt ones, time your swings and try remove his arms.
Ram: Get his attention at distance, wait for him to run and then dodge, get behind and get a good 2-3 hits with a nice forceful weapon, rinse and repeat, if your in the town, get his attention and jump on top of a car, you wont take any damage on a car, and strike down.
Floater: Grab his attention, let him spit at you, dodge it, run + kick then get behind him and finish him off, remember floater acid is flammable!
Suicider: Keep your distance, if you have the ammo, 2-3 well placed shots should see him explode, taking out ever other zombie in close proximity. If you have no ammo just throw a few weapons, you can always retrieve them once its dead.
Butcher: If you can take them out at distance, explosives or gun shot. If you get up close and personal try catch them out, if they don't see you coming a kick to the back followed by a few swift blows takes them out, remember to use a weapon you can swing quickly (knife/mace). Also if they are alert don't try kick them, they will dodge and counter.
As for the rest of the infected as said above, just kick them away and focus on one or two at a time, if they have green steam coming off them (floater acid) they will burst into flames and die with one hit from a fire based weapon.
Deo-bombs are very effective against anything, see the trader in the church, you can usually get deo-bomb parts for ~$300 (2 tins of deo and 1 duct tape)
Take your time, enjoy the game and theres no shame in running away if its getting too much

Good tactics, another good one for the Suicider is to walk towards him and run/jump back it works every time
I am almost done with the city and at lvl27 or so, the vast majority has been solo other than the first sewers section.
As said above, it can get quite tactical with different zombie types, but most of all you have to use your environment. You cant just go head to head with the "boss" types and expect to live easily.
Standing on cars and beating down on the undead will save you pain.
Tossing a gas cylinder into the mob and shooting it will clear a bunch of them.
Sprint out of tight spots and climb on something to heal up and assess the situation.
Kick them first to knock them back before going for the kill, kick cant be interrupted.
lure zombs to the side to pick them off individually or in smaller groups.
Use ranged weapons from vantage points, or throw your melee weapons at them, then quickly gather them up and repeat.
Keep your weapons in good condition and upgrade regularly.
Save some bullets for the Punks and human enemies and go for headshots.
Once you start getting infected sprinting at you and climbing ladders after you it gets really tough, but the fun just increases.

Yea and finding it very hard even tho I have mods for cheaper guns and more money when looting.I find it's always easier to jump on to roof of cars when surrounded by large groups of zombies or rams.they can't touch u up there 
Don't bother modding your guns, they have little to no (1 hit damage on a ram) effect on the infected. Just upgrade them/swap them out as you level up, there only any use for punks or shooting gas canisters/fire extinguishers. Stick to upgrading melee weapons, some of the venom and fire weapon mods are very very effective
Played on my own for about 10 mins loved the game but then uninstalled it as usual motion sickness I get from certain games came along. Yes i tried disabling certain settings makes no dif to me. All I can say is thank god I pirate games before buying them.
