Anyone playing Two Worlds?

I watched a video review of it - there's apparently no proper storyline and you get thrown in at the deep end (Its a load of crap) oh and there's the constant bugs :p

The whole point is that it throws you in at the deep end and that almost every monster will kill you in a couple of hits when you start. Its an RPG, you have to learn and develop. Granted some of the game mechanics could use a brief introduction. The main storyline seems ok, but the side quests are really varied and even the fetch and return/delivery ones all seem to have their own character.

The frame rate issues clear up after the first little while for the most part (very strangely!) and clearing the cache can help. Also the pop-up is far better than other games with similar open worlds that I have seen.

Comparing this game to oblivion is unfair, it's an entirely different genre with a different aim. This is not for the general gameplaying masses, it is for fans of RPGs and if you liked diablo and the baldurs gate games on the xbox then you should enjoy this after the first hour or two if you can forgive the occasional glitch

I'm still quite looking forward to playing this though I'm happy enough to wait for a gaming drought (thinking March time) and a patch or two first.

horses for courses i guess. personaly i couldnt stand Oblivion or Bioshock.

What's Bioshock got to do with anything? I think you're just trying to be a rebel, by slating the highest rated 360 game while heaping praise on the lowest rated one. Sure, opinions and horses for courses or whatever, but seriously...

oh please.

Oblivion - could be finnished on level 1 since the monsters scaled with you = no challenge. That and this still arent as good as Morrowind though.

Bioshock - got half way through it, there was no variety and once you got the grenade launcher you could stand toe to toe with the big daddies and kill them in seconds. It just got boring for me. Nothing to do with rebellion. Yeah it looked good, but so what if its a dull game.

Whats it got to do with this? The fact that different people like different things. Thats life.

well, after another couple of hours playing it i am actually enjoying it :)

if you ignore the horse riding and loading times then once you have got your head round the interface, fighting and actually exploring a bit it can be quite fun.

tbh, i never really liked Oblivion. Always seemed to be 'get a quest, go to cave, get something from cave, leave cave, finish quest' and just got boring after a while

i brought it yesterday on an impulse took home didnt really play it playing blue dragon but my bro played it for a while and seemed alright. its not an oblivion reminds me a lot more of baldurs gate and although glichy and not graphically as good as oblivon looks more fun to play oblivion bored me .

PCZones review of it was pretty good, 70 something percent. They said it was a game with lots of good ideas that just weren't implimented very well but if you could see past the bad it was a pretty enjoyable experience. I think people on here are overreacting a little, its by no means the worst game on the 360.

I'm glad some people have seen through the negative reviews and given the game a chance. I think the game developers screwed themselves over by ever comparing this to oblivion as it was never going to appeal to such a wide audience. (Also I suspect that the people who will like this the most are the people that didn't quite 'get' oblivion - like myself)

i got to level 13 or 14 last night just doing a few simple quests in cathalon, after clearing my cache its much smoother, you hardly notice the load times, and the gfx seem smoother to load aswell.

played it on both 360 and pc, i have it on PC personally because there is less performace issues and it looks better, its a good game, i dont no why it got such bad reviews, it looks great, and plays great, and some some nice features, doesnt touch oblivion imo but its still very good.
