Apparently the PS4 Pro RDR2 bundle is a revised model (CUH 7200) which are much quieter? Can anyone confirm this or is it still lottery.

Yes, mine is quiet. Only thing I don't like is that when I switch off the PS4 I hear some clicking/popping noises for about 5m

That's normal, it's heat expansion/contraction in the plastic.

I run a Pro on a 1080p TV and honestly it's worth it for the more steadier frame rates and super sampling. It's quite noticeable between that and my other launch PS4.

I have a standard PS4 and the frame rate drops in certain areas is just straight up jarring. Given the choice I would buy a pro to play at 1080 and then at 4k when I upgrade but cannot justify it with a working standard PS4

I got the bundle, however I have no other ps4 pro to compare to.

Compared to my base ps4 I would say its a bit noisier, but its not loud enough to be annoying, my laptop is noisier.

What I will confirm is its definitely the new ps4 pro, I seen the digitalfoundry video, and I checked the serial number to verify and its the newer model.

Came bundled with FIFA 18 so I presume it’s an earlier model. Fans are on constant while I’m playing RDRD2.
