Anyone read the T3 PS3 review...

Because it doesn't reflect in game comparison between 360 and PS3 - 360 comes out better almost every time.

But it may just be their own view, may be an overview of the hardware. It may be just a dumb comparison of games, it doesn't mean there is money involved.

I can understand they may well be exaggerated, but its funny that just because it doesn't go with what people expect, they immediately assume there is payoffs involved and rubbish it.

I think the Radiopm crew once said that within their tenure in the gaming industry they saw such unscrupulous activity.

You know the saying "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."

That still doesn't mean you have to automatically assume thats what is going on. It may well be but i still think its silly to automatically assume the worst.

Is that your comment or is it from the review?

Its from the review.

I subcribed to this years ago and have been to lazy to stop it. This has just made me do it now.

More classics from the T3 review:

" Nvidias custom graphics chip is twice as powerful as their top end PC gaming chips"

It gets better:

" Sonys PS3 sucks 380 watts of power once its processing frillions of polygons a second, double the juice of an xbox 360. Now thats a lot of juice."

This is a classic:

" You could buy a Wii and an Xbox 360 for the same money as a PS3, but then again, 2 Lidl pasties cost the same as a Ginsters one. Now dou you see?"

Jeez

:p :p :p

I love how none of those are true except the last one.... and even that is totally subjective and biased.
Though the second is slightly negative, it is not even true.

Lidl pasties are pretty superb especially when you consider the cost. To expand on that, Ginsters pasties are actually pretty rubbish, especially compared with nice ones from waitrose/M&S.

I would rather have 2 cheap pasties than one expensive one.

Or a whole crateful of pasties from CostCo.

The real problem is that you get these reviews that look like celebrations and it turns off those with a genuine interest and a degree of intelligence. What you want is a review that mentions the good and bad points without trying to dress it up in anyway. I'm buying a PS3 because it's going to have the most RPGs in the years to come. I don't think it's a great deal better than the Xbox 360 and I know it's ripped off the Wii in regards to motion sensing (both of which I already own) but it still doesn't prevent me from wanting to buy one.

The 360 has 17 RPG's scheduled for 2007, the PS3 has 3 I think.

This sort of biased nonsense is everywhere, here is a quote from loaded - "Eventually, including backward compatability, there will be more games you can play on it.(The X360 ain't backward compatible at all.)"

Totally ridiculious.

Another 'reason to get the PS3' is that it has 1080p HD, so games look the absolute 'breasts'

The PS3 will eventually have the most RPGs. Don't get me wrong I own a 360 and would love to see as many as possible on the console but I can't see developers such as Nippon Ichi (my favourite sRPG developer) doing games for the 360 or the Wii. The Final Fantasy games will probably remain on the PS3 too. I'm looking forward to Mass Effect on the 360 and would love KotOR 3 on the console (as long as it's made by Bioware and not Obsidian) and a sequel to Jade Empire although that story was pretty much tied up in the original game. Eternal Sonata on the 360 looks great too.

Yes those comments you mentioned are pathetic. These publications are a disgrace to be honest.

Ah. So you initially judge games purely on their looks then?

Clearly a far fairer method.

have you been on the special brew? You're clearly after a ruck!

For what its worth I know what darkaber means.. review etc can always be biased so myself I make sure I buy from places with no quibble returns policies. That way I can kind of try before I buy! Just what I've done with the ps3 tbh.

Unless you need to remortgage your house to buy a game its not unreasonable to think people buy games on their looks/hearsay rather than lame reviews and then just take it back if they don't like it.
