Anyone reccomend an MMORPG?

None these games have such potential but the only good one was star wars but that ended about 4 years ago.

Wait for Huxley as it looks liek it should be refreshing and heading in the right direction.

I don't see why people grind for months just to get better weapons and stats, thats all 99% of MMO's.
Eve is slightly better but at the end of *** day there's not much it's just point and click some buttons.

I'm installing the EQ2 trial now. I don't expect much.

I'm waiting for a skill based MMO. Button bashing doesn't require skill. I mean there is some skill used to pick the right spells off the drop of a hat but you just point and click, yawn.

haven't tried vanguard

It's more or less fantasy SWG, well it sounds it. Dunno about the skill/profession system but the crafting is similar.

hehe I did the demo
was like, err, ZOMG MORE GRIND THAN WOW!
hehe
its was that bad

Apparently it's been really dulled down now, halved infact.

Also the PvP has been un-laggified. Might give it a go again in the summer!

I can't help but think they'regoing to totally ruin that. I reckon it'll just be another easy printing press.

Hmm, seems like Warhammer Online is massively overhyped to me. The gameplay footage I've seen of it looks absolutely positively crap.

To be honest if you want a PvP MMO go with WoW, the whole arena thing is becoming quite big now with sponsored teams, tournaments with cash rewards...etc

well i would actually prefer PVE, but WoW seems the best option, ill see if i like EQ2, if i think i would like WoW more ill order it tommorow.
