Looking to purchase a game not to sure as to what as of yet, would be great if you guys could point me in the correct direction, cheers.

You're 2 weeks too late. You just missed a great time to buy games with the steam sales.

Get Bioshock,Batman AA or Dead Space. Can't go wrong with any of those games.

Dead Space is *AMAZING*. I do need to complete it though, I got about 50 percent through then tons of stuff came up and I stopped playing!

If you want to be scared, F.E.A.R. 2 does this the best imo.
Quite an underated game, as far as I can see.
