I just watched this today, I avoided it at the cinema back when it was on purely because I thought it'd be just another film to forget about but I was suprised. Adam Sandler's made some really good films such as Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy and Mr Deeds, and he always seems to play the same character and in this one it's almost no different, but I really liked it.

I'm not ashamed to say but I actually cried watching this film, a film hasn't done that to me for a long while now but the morals behind it are really hammered home. Behind that though it wasn't exactly a good movie, it had a few laughs and kept with the Sandler style but tbh it told a really good story; even though it's probably been thought up a million times before I really enjoyed the execution of it. :)

Definitely one to watch, I had no expectations of it and was pleasently suprised/upset. lol.

Anyone else seen it?

I've avoided it for the same reasons - I find all his films a bit samey.

Heard it's Sandlers worst film yet.
I heard that too and tbh that quote is utter bull. It's only because it's a bit different; it's not an all out comedy; sure he still fits the typecast but the story doesn't.

I say go watch it and you'll be suprised. :)

seen it just befor christmas i think and i enjoyed it deffinalty wasnt his normal style but was plesant viewing

I thought it was pretty decent, but I would have preferred an all out comedy.

POSSIBLE SPOILER
It starts off a comedy, then turns into some sad drama about him dieing and having wasted his life because of this remote, then it turns into a love story.

Then it turns into a "Ha, I win, **** you remote" story.

It was more drama than it was comedy.

POSSIBLE SPOILER

I thought it was ok...But Anger Management is his best film to date IMO!

who's that little girl in that mirror there?

OT i wasnt overly impressed, it did hit me with the sad bits but that didnt make it a good film for me, maybe i'll give it another watch

aye just loved the spontenaity of that scene...perfect and good for a quick laugh

overall it was an average film but had some good comedy scenes and a decent story to it, even if it has been done many times in various guises

its a really good film with a very real message hidden away

Hidden? Hidden? Nothing about the films mealy-mouthed,schmaltzy,hollywood'ised message is hidden. It's rammed down our throats with a large helping of sugary syrup.I can appreciate that it is made for the American market but jeez! Do all these films have to rub my face in it?

However, the first half of the film rocked..helped in no small part by the Hoff's inclusion :D

Great film I cried first time watching it, well kinda.

and yep Terry Crews is the man, what a ledge, love him in Everybody Hates Chris too. :D

I thought his best film was Punch-Drunk Love.

woohoo!!!

I thought Click could've done without the ending, but before that, it was really good

I thought it was a good film, not bad or brilliant, but a good enough watch. I usually enjoy his stuff, he's a pretty funny guy and I don't think I've ever been disappointed with his films.

Me and the girlfriend have a couple of Adam Sandler films to watch tonight, out of a boxset we bought, Billy Madison and Bullet Proof.

I also welled up a bit also at the end, but managed to hold back :p
