I've just ordered one through e2save on orange (they say roughly 2 weeks) - got it for free on panther 45 (with 6 months free line rental and 3 months free insurance)cyKey said:I rang Orange today and they still say July.
June 28th is still the date afaik, although we are half expecting it to be delayed.cyKey said:I rang Orange today and they still say July. The CPW site says June 28th. Hopefully soon. I'm eligible for an upgrade.

Maybe he's not quite as cynical as where I workcyKey said:Hmmm. The guy at Orange said I could go to CPW and get my phone upgraded on the 28th if they have it in. Its funny though. He said that doing it that way would mean I don't get any of Orange's special software. BummerHe did mention that some things might not work. I'm sure he's just saying that. I flashed my k750i to a w800i and never had any issues. Never had a 3G phone though.

You can upgrade from there though and avoid Orange branding.
csmager said:So, Haly, are you saying the Orange release is supposed to be the 28th? It's not even on their website yet, although I did email them and they said it's 'under review'.

Ok, thanks. (I couldn't remember whether you worked in CPW or Orange, but re-reading your earlier post it implies CPW).Haly said:No.
I'm saying CPW should have it on the 28th. And when Orange make it available on upgrades, you'll be able to upgrade it from CPW without the branding.
