ALthough Menace 2 Society is a good film, i just think Boyz n the hood is better in most ways, mainly acting and realism and stuff, the film is based on the director/writer singletons expierences and where he lives, All the extras in the film were from the area it was based on, it was all filmed there aswell.

Both good films i just prefer this one imo,

Boyz n the hood is one of the best films ever made. So well written, and brought the issues of the black community (especially in the 'ghettos') to the spotlight.
