Anyone soldered before?

ive been soldering since i was about 10 (im 17)

what really hearts is when the molten sodler lands on you, as the heat just doesnt go away
 
i was redoing my guitars electronics last night actually... burned myself lol..

not too bad though - get it under cold water IMMEDIATELY and that will save it from throbbing for days... just a little blister this morning and it doesn't hurt!
 
Solderings pretty easy tbh, just have confidence in what you do, I do board re-work at work with a 2mm diameter iron and find it a doddle. ensure you use lots of flux and all with be good, also a good tip is to when you have done a joint place some flux onto the newly done joint and gently tap the iron on it, this ensure to clean the joint as solder tends to dry and oxidise quite easily when hot or reheated.
