ANYONE STILL GETTING STUTTER WITH NVIDIA GTX670/80 ? 670

What !!
Did you read the title ? It is very rare for me to ask for help around here, and if I did I would go out of my way to let the person know how it worked out and thank him.....just about opposite to what normally happens around here.

I know you've been around for a while, I remember your username so I assumed that you'd maybe have done a quick search first to which I also assumed you had not been successful in finding a solution. My next assumption was that you had a problem and to get to the root of it quicker then information is usually given to help the process of elimination.

For me to assume to fill in the missing blanks I agree, is dangerous I know, but in a forum of text it's hard to hear (read) what you're saying unless you actually say it. Let us get the cheese n crackers out and put this behind us?. :D

No problem my friend :D,

Trouble is, I know with forums often just the title and last post get read, If I added "I don't have a problem but is " to the title it would be to long.

Also I can hardly offer a fix when I don't know exactly, if and what problems others are experiencing.

So you know of a fix if people are having 'Stutter' problems?

Personally I like to take everything with a large helping of salt when reading peoples comments on these forums, as I find many people are prone to delusion when it comes to graphics cards. I'm not sure if its because they dont notice certain issues (like stuttering), dont care, or do notice but refuse to admit it (for whatever reason). All I know is, you can't trust peoples comments when it comes to issues like this.

Its like when you see people using comments such as 'solid 60 fps, silky smooth performance, absolutely no slow down' with nothing to show for it. You know they're talking out of their ass half the time.

Just when a booth babe's holding one for me to look at!:D

Suppose we won't know for sure until the Nvidia forum comes back online, still waiting for an email.

Manuel said once there was a confirmed fix, they would release a Whql driver, hopefully with the 660 release inbound, it will be in the supplied Whql driver(I'm presuming it will get a Whql) and it can be put to bed.

Good post ;)
You missed out the undying loyalty to their own product choice and vast knowledge of of all competing products...they have never actually owned and tested
It does get very frustrating.

Well so far it seems like only you and me have had problems then :D

Can you describe your stutter ?

So you assume I have stutter? Thankfully I don't but I did try and help people with it.

I am not sure what the point of this thread is and if indeed you require help. If you do, you are going the wrong way about it :(

That would be "snap" then !

Please, how many times do I have to say, I'm not asking for help !

I have been testing a few GTX680's and have noticed quite a few issues with general game/video smoothness, an annoying issue in some games I found a workaround for. But I'm pleased to hear no one else has an problems :p

'6 Series Stutter Workaround' (or similar)

Should have been the thread title, with the solution detailed then Jakus, instead of wasting folks time/trolling. :(
