Since getting a GTX 970 for Christmas I've been loving the higher quality games I couldn't enjoy so well with my old 7850. I bought BF4 Premium in the sale as I've always wanted to play it, and it's still reasonably active. I'm having the time of my life on it, I tried the BF1 trial but it just feels too simplistic in comparison.

Anyone here still play BF4? Would be nice to know of any good servers / have people to play with!

Your taking pot luck with a lot of servers on BF4 these days , most seem to be pretty crap with stupid server rules , also the 60Hz servers seem to always be laggy as hell, when I go on BF4 I stick to 30Hz ones , also lol a lot of the in game admins I think are kids going by the way they behave lol...I also have BF1 and for myself I'll be sticking with BF4..OcUK have as far as I know a BF4 clan I never played in it though .

Just re-downloaded BF4. PUBG is garbage and BF1 is too simplistic/boring. BF4 much better.

Gave up on it - could never solve some "netcode" issues I was having. Fortunately found another couple of games that just about scratch the itch for some of the gameplay elements I was hanging onto BF4 for.

I've found that decent servers are quite hit and miss... I loved BF3 on Xbox back in the day, just never got onto BF on PC as I've always had a reasonably low-end machine. Would be nice to play some BF4 with some friendly people though! Might be nice to not have pilots bail on you, tank drivers refusing to move with you in it, and just generally non-tactical boring old farts!

Still need to try out PUBG, but no doubt I'll be sticking to BF4 for a while now..

I don't think I've witnessed any netcode issues that people talk about - perhaps I'm just still that bad at the game to not notice ;)

I have been tempted to get back into as I’ve found quite a number stream this on twitch.

Play most days, there are still a few good low ping servers. The last Windows patch seems to have fixed a peculiar stutter and rapid/random frame drop I was having and it runs peachy now. Just started BF1 and while it's pretty, the period and weapons are just not my thing. BF4 is spot on.

I don’t like these old World War type of games.

Considering picking this up for PC, played it extensively on console.

My question for those still playing, what's it like for cheaters these days? PUBG seems riddled with them, and the game is still buggy as ****, crashing etc.

went back to it this month and wow did i miss it. Loving being back.

I play on a server that is very niche style server thouugh which is HC inf only with transport vehicles only. It's not everyones cup of tea.

I used to run a server with the same settings (hard to do but tricking the game through procon with scripts basically). One massive advantage is there is always an admin on (who isn't a badmin). I know him from when i used to run my server so i know how he studies overly good players through pbscreens bf4db and other sites to find hackers. It's not exact but you can get an idea if people are cheating or not. Also if it is believed someone is cheating, but cannot be proven, they get asked to record a video of them playing the game. A recording of their monitor when booting up, loading into the game, then playing. (not pc recording software).

I recently came back to this after a two year break from all online fps. I only play hardcore TDM though and the one thing I seem to notice more of now is the use of FLIR scopes than before. Seems every other sniper noob has one on these days. I cannot for the life of me understand why they add this kind of stuff to multiplayer games.
