anyone still play cod4 online?

^ What annoys me most is when teammates use marty, so when they are killed they take out a bunch of team-members.

The very fact someone moans like chuff over it shows that they, indeed, suck.

Just like moaning about the Grenade Launcher, bunny hopping (I hate this, but I don't moan about it) and jumping around corners. If it works, it works. It's also in the game, it's not cheating. Just because you're too thick to run out of the way, it doesn't mean the other person sucks, or is a "marty n00b" It just means you're getting frustrated because you're dying a lot. Admit that and we're on our way to being men.

You can bitch about Martyr if you like, but there's nothing else better to use when you're using a shotgun class. The whole deal with a shotgun is you're up close and personal and if someone kills you, you drop a grenade and hopefully, stop them in their tracks. It's perfect.

Now all this said, I don't even bother with Martyrdom. Most of my classes have steady aim and stopping power on.

I know, that used to really pee me off lol. But honestly, there's no real need to cover their position (unless you want their weap), at least not for 5 secs. Hang back, just in case they have martyr.
 
i have recently started playing again

it just doesnt get old

2:30am last night i looked at my clock and realised i was addicted...

again! :D
 
don't have a problem with martyrdom, but I think you shouldn't be able to drop a grenade when you die if you have already lobbed it at someone else.
 
painfully easy game, totally boring. Got the game, single player is great, multiplayer is just, well, theres no skill involved, its not hard, its fast and boring, airstrikes and the like are just pointless.

I'd kill for sof2 multiplayer to be updated with new maps and, you know, people to play it, maybe the new CS will bring a decent refresh, maps, idea's and so on.

COD4 was fun for all of 3 days, after that there was zero challenge at all.
 
i normal go hunting with .50 cal slience pistol dead slience and uav jammer works well in some maps like over grown and block still love the game compared to world at war

great games last night lols :D

just uploading two new maps to try on the gun game server for tonight and removing glass attack.

basically for those who havent played the mod you start of with basic pistol and every two kills you move up a gun.going thorugh all the weapons until stage 29 which wins the game.

if you get a knife kill it counts as two kills or if you get knifed you lose two :D so dont get knifed !

all maps are small and very frantic / fun maps.

In other words, basicly the gungame mod for css, but for cod4? Awesome, will probably have to give it a try.
