Hey guys,

I've just upgraded to Windows 8.1 but the sound quality is awful when I attempt to use my Asus Xonar DX or the onboard audio for that matter. The sound is really muddy sounding/drowned out by bass. The power is properly connected to the card too.

It seems Asus have a beta driver but this download appear corrupt every time I try to get hold of it. Here's a link:

Does anyone have any good working drivers for this sound card in Windows 8.1 please? or for the Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen 3?

Thanks very much!

Matt

Thanks for the advice guys... will keep a hold of the uni driver links! Managed to get them working in the end. I tried a different method of downloading the drivers of Asus' website and that worked a treat.

Audio is back. Cheers again :)
