Ive been looking into getting a multi function printer for a while to save on desk space, and was wondering what the general opinion is.

The one I am looking at is the Canon MP560 which is in my price range, and doesnt look too bad for the price, plus it uses compatible carts.

Anything I should look out for or avoid before buying?
Any advice appreciated:)

I'm an Epson man myself, have 2 all in ones that still work (one's 2 years old, the other's a year), so this would be the one I'd go for. The Canon does look better for printing very high quality photos, though it doesn't say how many pages it prints per minute.

Hi,

I have a Canon MP210 which is probably not as good as the MP560, the print quality is very good, scan & copy is quick, it's quiet when is use and the buttons for print/scan/copy are easy to use.

This is my 3rd Canon printer, but after the last one gave up, I had wanted for a long time to switch to Epson, but stayed with Canon due to quality and price.

I have a Brother DCP-115C it was a budget buy from ***** supermarket for £50. It really is the cats flaps. Best comboprinter I've had and cartridges cost me £15 for TWO full sets. BARGAIN

Cheers all, Ive had various Epsons and Canons over the years, and Im on a Canon at the mo (IP4000) so will try the MP560 in the new year and see how I get on.
