Anyone use the three in touch app?

This app was a godsend for mon on my s3 it allowed me to use my phone as a phone at work where I had zero signal because of the thick walls by using the work WIFI. I've installed it on my new M8 to find that it will only work if there is phone signal! What an earth is the point! It just defeats the object of the app entirely. Is anyone else using it successfully?

I used it successfully without any signal on my S4. I stopped using it as I got a number of lost calls that would ring but didn't make it through to my phone or the app.

Yeah works fine on my moto g with no signal.

Got it working finally, for some reason the hotspots for the Wifi at home and work were turned off in the settings must have defaulted to that when I set it up which is abit weird but its working now.

Yes I use it sometimes, but like O2's Tu Go app it's quite fiddly and the quality is questionable. I get quite a lot of audio drop outs.

Hopefully EE will hurry up and launch their version which doesn't require the use of an app.

Is it so necessary on EE though? It is on three as I find there indoor signal is pretty poor but as far as I can tell EE is the best.
