I have a spare 640gb disk so me thinks ok I will give this Mint 12 Live CD a go. It gets to the point where I am ready to install it to the HD (unplugged my others) and then I thought I would not partition it all for the install I'll have a large partition on the back end in say FAT32 so then I can access it from both W7 and Mint.
Well it sounded good to me until it came up errors that I hadn't defined a swap and something else????? The partitioning aspect alone was way to daunting and completely put me off
Ah well I feel comfortable now I am booted back up into W7.
