Anyone used My Hermes

pretty sure it's people outside of work hours contracted to collect and deliver parcels rather than regular employees? I'd imagine peoples experiences vary wildly depending on there area

use them all the time for my auction listings. never had a problem so far shipping to various parts of the country.

(probably cursed it now, got about 10 things to ship this week)

I've sent something like 20-30 ebay items through Hermes. Never had an issue (though I always ponder on the security of the parcels at the drop-off points).

Used them absolutely loads via their fantastic "collect from safe place" (we have a convenient summerhouse in our garden) which means its as good as having a post office at my house.

Never missed a collection and never had any issues, i really recommend them.

This puts me off using them:

That's a pretty major exclusion right there. Most of the items I ship could be described as 'Electrical or Electronic items'.

why are stamps on the exclusion list

technically you could not put a stamp on a peice of paper, box it up and send it via myhermes and be covered? madness?

my herpes has been a hit and miss for me. sometimes they knock, sometimes they don't bother and just dump your item anywhere even if its raining etc. Wouldn't trust them with fragile items
