Anyone using a Dualshock 4 for pc gaming?

Best off getting a wired 360 pad. Plug & play and has the best compatibility.

As above - xinput wrapper saves the day in regards to compatibility.

I have several xbox360 pads but personally prefer my ps3 pads as their dpads are infinitely superior for some retro games/emulator games. Buying decisions for pads are always highly situational.

You're right in that respect. I couldn't play any of the THPS games using the horrid XBox 360 d-pad. Went on e-Bay and picked up a Dual Shock rip-off for £5 posted. Works like a charm.

Untrue, my son uses a 360 pad on l4d2 sometimes and he kicks butt with it.

He will be doing worse than he would be doing with a mouse and keyboard. I don't think anyone can refute that.

L4D2 is also not really the kind of game that was meant. Yes, it's multiplayer, but it's not anything even close to a twitchy FPS and the majority of the time you're playing against the AI rather than human players.

As above this is understood and not the sort of game i will be playing with a controller

I was about to say this.

Tony Hawks = need an awesome dpad. The 360 pad has a terrible dpad. PS2 pad ftw
