Anyone using an SSD with WinXP?

Thinking of getting one.

Anyone installed one as their C:/ drive?

When I first got my SSD, I was in work, so I installed it as the only drive in one of the work machines, then used ghost to copy a work pc image onto it and it worked perfectly, no problems at all and was so much faster.

did you need to change any settings or do any tweaks?

Thats exactly what i wnat to do. Transfer my existing C:/ image onto it.

No, i simply ghosted an existng image for the PC model, onto the SSD, no tweaks or bios changes were made.

NOTE: when I got home, I formatted the drive and then tried to ghost my own C: drive onto the SSD but it failed to boot from the drive and I had to do a clean install??

If you plan to upgrade to Vista or Windows 7, make sure you get a 60gb or bigger.
