Up until now I had been using X-fire but was never that fused about it and always found it abit clunky so had a look around and found Raptr. So far it seems to offer a lot more functionality than both Steam and X-Fire.

So I guess my question is do the forum regulars use the likes of these and is there a OCUK community setup.

I have recently abandoned WoW as i have released that over the four years I played it I missed out on so many great games and now that I am recovering WoW Addict it would be nice to have that community chat with like manided gamers even if I'm playing a SP game.

I tried switching to raptr after becoming extremely frustrated with xfire's lack of new game updates, and stuck with it for a while, but for some reason I switched back to xfire. I don't exactly remember the reason why, but there was something about the raptr client that really bugged me, but I can't remember what now D:

I like raptr because it detects more of my games than xfire.

But I was trying to join my mate who was in a cod4 server and for some reason clicking the join button didnt work, so I opened xfire and voilot - clicking join worked instantly.

I'm now torn as to which to use, I think I will stick at it with raptr for now and if I run into more trouble then I will go back to trusty old xfire.

Also another thing that bugs me about raptr is the steam integration, it lets you chat to people who are on steam BUT you have to be logged in on steam for it to work. So its pretty pointless if you ask me.

Had to bump this thread, this is an amazing piece of software. Tracks Xbox/Steam/GFWL/PS3 and normal retail games as long as they are in the Raptr DB. Gives you total time played on all games, plus per session. Tracks all achievements, allows you to join gaming groups. Hell it even ranks you against everyone else per game. Must have software imo. For those who love facebook/twitter it will auto post to your timeline etc what you have been doing and what achievements you have per session if you choose it to. TBH I was going to make a new thread but hey I think bumping is ok?

This has other features as well but I am only just getting into it. For those like me who never knew about it, go try it :)

I mostly use it for the free stuff, got some BLR codes, a mount/pet on rift etc, but its pretty useful.
