As my data is growing exponentially it seems - I'm looking at setting up a RAID array.
Due to my ultra-paranoia, I think I'm going to use RAID6 (RAID5 but with an extra parity block - allowing 2 concurrent drive failures).
I think i'd most likely get an Adaptec RAID 5805Z controller - but i'm unsure of the chassis...
This is probably going to sound retarded.. but with most enclosures i've seen, they state that they're eSATA etc.. so i'm assuming they have their own built in RAID controller?
Would it be best for me to build a dedicated RAID "PC" and use the card mentioned above?
