anyone using virgin hub and google wifi?

Just purchased google wifi as struggle upstairs with signal for ironically the google home stuff

just wondering if i need to set the virgin hub into modem mode?

I set mine up. It's great. Virgin box in modem mode .Remember only 1 network port works. Not sure if it's the first one or just any 1

Double pack spotted on hukd?

I paid £180 for double pack. It's been great.i have around 20 wireless devices and the virgin box was overloaded and signal dropped off upstairs for switch and Google home stuff.

The twin pack has been amazing the app management is great even when you are out you can access and control it.

My only issue is it has just one network port and because you need the virgin box in modem mode you can't use them. So had to add a small 4 port hub into Google WiFi and then connect my wired stuff in that. No bother just had to do a bit of wire tidy

I have been very impressed. The Google WiFi app is great as well. You don't even need to be on WiFi to control stuff

My issue was not just coverage but I wanted more control and more connections. My virgin box was overloaded with 20+ wireless devices. I was finding my 4 Google home devices which I use a lot were dropping off or on low signal strength.

The app and control you get is great.
