My GF has now had this phone for a week or so and its also the ohone im looking at upgrading to

However, its shocking we have both gone from a k800i and it does not compare well at all for general use, theres a delay when entering the menu, the camera is awful compared to the k800 and the slide has a Carl Zeiss lens, the operating system seems very sluggish when navigating around the phone

Is this the case with all of them or have we got a dodgy handset?

Im stuck as to what to go for now as i was looking at getting this because it seems so feature packed but smaller and sexier than the SE's

My mate has the 6500 slide, its rather big - I have the 6500 classic - same phone seems faster, more memory but weaker camera... as a second phone its grate. I would recommend the N95 or N81 as a main phone thou

A series 40 phone slow  My 6500 is very quick, but the delay bug with answering calls with the slide is very annoying.

There's no way a Symbian phone (N95/N81) is quicker than a 6500 under general use.

My 6500 slide is pretty quick, no delays on anything and the camera is pretty good, Except for the double L.E.D flash can leave the pictures over exposed... other than that its a good phone :)

6500 slide here too, on 3, no slow down in the menus at all, the camera is fine in daylight, in darker situations it's bound to be less favourable due to the naff twin led flash a a pose to the xenon on the sony, but it's a no nonsense nokia and as such I cant fault it, I'll stick with mine for a good year ot two, the only gripe I have with it is the battery cover will get scratched, nost of the phone is encased in metal, that and everyone thinks it's just a poor mans N95.
