Anyone with BTHome Hub?

Got one today, and i cant for the life of me get my NAT off strict!

Tried everything ive read online! Norm i wouldn't be too fussed by tomorrow is Halo!

Anyone experience this or resolved it?

Yes me, I have one and cured the strict NAT, hope that helps

I've cured it now i think, i had to set the xbox to automatic and not use any of the game application stuff (xbox live settings) on the router...bit backjwards

yup i read that, i got the former version 6.1.1.r atm and i initially did what it said and it didnt work

It didnt for me either until I unplugged again. It wasn't instant but it's stayed open since.

You know someone who works for BT, I am gonna be getting it soon as my dad works for them and we get free 8 meg and the hub thing.

Sound, so what did he do to get it, my dads not sure what to do, BT cant run ****.

What does he do, my dad is an engineer and he was saying the bosses are going mad because they already get free stuff and still wanted the shares. :mad:

My dad is an engineer too, our net just went up automatically on the 14th May and the hub came today.

He wanted *** shares too lol.

I think they are doing all staff asap - my dads work mate got done before ours, so think its just a case of waiting

we get our home hub in 2 months i think. our free 8mb internet (now wireless!) is a pretty good perk

Got one here, never needed to change anything though. 360 gaming has been fine via wireless out of the box, pleasantly surprised considering all the horror stories. I only get 2mb because of my line distance but it's been pretty stable and the router stays up and does it's job.

Ah we have always had telewest cable we had BT 56k so I need to get signed up to this BT and get 8 meg and 20 meg VIRGIN

Homehub is basically just a dressed up wireless router isn't it?

Yes in essence it is and you can of course just use a wirless router instead. Where it differs is the connection of the wifi internet phone from BT that comes as part of the package which I believe you can't use without the homehub.

my dad just got his 2 days ago btw apparently you can get bt vision as well for a one off payment of £1
