Anyone with experience with a 1 series?

Mileage is too high for the low price BMW warranty, and I wouldn't want one of these without it - whats the point in an 'efficient and economical' 2 litre diesel with the threat of ridiculous bills hanging over you.

It also seems fairly poorly specced as well.

I can think of bettre cars to spend £9k on than a 6 year old 1 Series.

And it doesn't have FBMWSH,which would put me off big time.

I do agree with your points regarding the age and mileage of the vehicle apart from the poorly specced part. From the models I've seen and looked at the only thing as far as I'm aware that this particular car seems to miss is the sat nav and computer system.

The only option fitted to this car is front and rear PDC. It is otherwise completely standard. It is far from missing only Nav and iDrive! Surely you notice it has half cloth seats, no Xenons etc

I'd have thought you could get a better all rounder (even if still the 118d) for the money. Really I'd want FBMWSH, Leather & Xenons and the bmw warranty.
