need some advice please
short version,
one2one customer 10 years ago with a 07958 number
signed up to BT Genie customer who gave me a 07740 number, i ported my one2one number over to the genie contract so for the last 8 years ive been using the 07958 number no problem.
so i upgraded to iphone v1 in March over the phone fine, still keeping my 07958 number of course.
went in store today to upgrade to iphone 3G and when they put my number into the O2 Gateway, it showed my very very old O2 number (07740) and the screen shows that i do not have a contract!
the advisor in store called O2 and spent a good 1hr 30mins with them to try sort it out, turned out that they would call back, at this point i had to go back to work so i called the store again at 4pm today, the advisor said he would call o2 again and would call be back
so the advisor called me back and said hes getting no where with them and to call them up your self.
so about an hour ago, called them, told them the situation, he got one of his team to try it and he confirmed that the o2 gateway wasnt showing my proper number and details and was confused.
he then said go back to the store and tell them to do a manual authorisation

this is what the advisor at the store had been doing for me to no avail and i had a nice iphone 3g infront of me aswell 
now im back to square one and need some serious help!
any advice please?
