I think aldi is the same company as lidl, you're expected to work a lot of overtime, be able to do all different jobs in the store (unloading vehicles, shelf stacking and tills) and pay was ~7.50-8p/h.
Went for interview for the Grad scheme some years ago.
It was the worst interview experience of my life and the type of people going for the job were a bunch of ****.
Maybe I'm just bitter because I didn't actually get an offer
But like everyone else is saying, there is a reason why you get paid stupid amounts. Forget about enjoying probably the most important years of your life. Because you wont have one.
But back on original topic. I'm sure the pay is good at Aldi for shop assistant, so I say go for it. I'm sure its not same as Grad scheme.
