Anything I've missed?

Giving this a bump because I'm looking at the build and need to know something that is bugging me.

On a parvum case u don't get drive slots for your DVD/blu ray so how do u install an os? There is prob a way but this is the 1st PC I'm building where it doesn't have said DVD/blu ray slot! Anybody who has any experience with these cases or hasn't bothered with an optical drive can u explain, I'm prob going to get the case from parvum as they have an option to add two USB 3 ports on the front by the power switch!

Cheers for the heads up

No Probs, bought the Samsung one the other day (the £21 one)

Not used it yet! :D

It doesn't have to be that case but I was drawn to it because its very unique I suppose I can use the corsair 540 it just means swapping out a few things seen as its not matx.

These cases can take m-atx boards.

(the second one can only take m-atx :D)

You can always go the the Gigabyte below:

I have swapped to the corsair 540, added an ocuk optical drive and kept the sniper m/board I want to keep with the hulk theme as there is a few orange and red builds ATM

I couldn't find an 140mm alpenfohn in shamrock green fir the rear so I added a 6th 120mm instead.

I've been a fan of the 540 for sometime and have been spec'ing it when the case was pre-order. It's pretty common to see it spec'd by everyone now really, has lots of potential. Fans are something I'd change later as cases come with them. I do appreciate people like to style their rigs though.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black £113.99
1 x BitFenix Hydra Fan/LED Controller £24.98
3 x BitFenix Spectre PRO 140mm White LED - Black £13.99 (£41.97)
Total : £180.95 (includes shipping : FREE).

Upgraded the fans to white LED, the fan controller will adjust the speed of the fans which in turn dims the LED. There is also a button to toggle the LEDs on/off for their range of Spectre fans. I own one myself, was given it to do a review on here.

The Sniper has green LEDs on the mobo so getting green LED fans would most likely wash out their effect. So i've stuck with white LEDs for lighting which is more neutral no matter what colour scheme you choose for the other parts :)

Cheers for all the help, I've switched to them fans and ditched the extra lighting I think it maybe went too green, I have the green braided cables and motherboard so yeah green lights on top maybe too much lol

They do PWM (4pin) Spectre Pros but the Hydra Pro is for 3 pin fans.

You can connect fans directly to the mobo but it can start to look messy. I thought the Hydra Pro might appeal as it can daisy chain fans to a channel and the option to toggle the LEDs is a nice touch.

Can be a lot of fun styling a build, it's nice to see what people come up with :)

#bumped

i have upped my budget althought the monitor is the last thing i will buy and i have put in a few questions, pretty much got my 1st order ready if this works out

I'd reconsider the mouse/keyboard choices as I don't think they're really up for gaming.

I'd also consider 670 SLI which would save a fair bit over a 780 and outdo it if you're looking at 120/144hz.
