Anything NEXT GEN on the way worth looking forward to?

It feels weird - as if this generation's going to be over before it's even begun. How long did it take on PS3/Xbox 360 before we had something that felt truly next gen? I can't recall. Was it Uncharted two years after launch?

I think this Generation will truly start at the end of this year and more to the point when third parties ditch the last gen.

It was probably the same with the PS3/360 and if you take the Last of Us which was probably the highlight of that generation it came at the end.
 
Wii U has the best games out atm, my ps4 sat gathering dust , as said by others though a second son is the best looking game out on the ps4 at the moment , looks amazing with the lighting and effects at night ! .. Surprised no one has mentioned metal gear solid v that looks immense !!
 
Really don't know why people who played TLOU on ps3 think it's so great on PS4 it's just a graphics update cash in

I'm feeling anything but flat about next (current) gen right now. On Xbox One I'm playing through Watch Dogs, Dead Rising 3 still, always play FIFA, and with Games with Gold I've still got Max Curse of the Bortherhood and Guacamelee to finish. There's not enough time in the day (my day!) to get all this done. Then FIFA 15, NHL 15, are on the horizon, and the Destiny beta next week.

The PS4 must have the same/similar games to keep you busy?
 
For me at least there's some rehashed last-gen content to look forward to since I sold my last gen consoles early to focus on studies (and gain more £££ from trade in :p) - so TLOU and GTA5 can't come quickly enough :D

Not really, there was infamous but I didn't find it to be very compelling :/ spending most my spare time on Titanfall still, although the PS4 will get a good workout when TLOU launches as i said.

It's Bungie so there will be comparisons to Halo but Destiny is completely different, it offers you a single player game, MMO, Co-Op, Raids, PvP a massive system to explore etc. It's my most anticipated game of year by a mile!

Interesting looking back at this comment, to me Destiny (I've had it since launch) is just like "grown-up" Halo tbh...in a good way.


Great that we finally have some proper games for the PS4 & Xbox ONE, with two more corkers on the way in the next week and a flurry of them within the next couple of months.

Good times are here.
