The monitor doesnt have HDMI so the Gigabyte board is no good without a graphics card.

Maybe, I think the above item is the right one,

HDMI from graphics--dvi cable--dvi on monitor.

Ah i see they are both the same just this one is 1 wire, but the other one is cheaper

The other one isnt a cable, its just some little adapter.
