Anything wrong with samsung laptop drives?

looking to buy a sumsung laptop drive (probably 80 Gb) to use in an external usb caddy and wondered what their reputation was like? I have heard good things about their 3.5" drives so I assume the 2.5" are also good?

If you are buying new and have a choice, go for the WD Scorpios, they are the fastest laptop hard drives out that i know of, have one in my laptop and its brilliant.

Although since it is in an external bay speed might not be the thing you need, samsungs are slightly cheaper and since it will be limited by the usb transfer rate having a faster drive might not be of much benefit to you especially if it is just for storage
