I still don't think a lad of 8 would be building a DOS system with config.sys and autoexec.bat commands and MFM/RLL drives etc.

I used to fiddle with that sort of stuff and I'm 23 now

Apparently Yamaha also released a 4x recorder in 1995 too, the CDR100.

Talk about confusion - it was the Yamaha 4x I had from Millennium and definitely not Toshiba.
Right, just rang up one of the other 4 and he reckons it was Encarta 93 and games like Day Of The Tentacle that Paul was caught with.
