Anyway to connect to Secondary WAN Router when on Primary WAN?

Hey all

I only have basic network skills but I've successfully setup dual WAN on my Asus XT12 kit. Both Routers (Primary/Secondary) are setup with IP Passthrough and I've tested failover and failback successfully. However, I've noticed that I cannot connect to the secondary Router's management console, whilst I'm using the primary WAN connection. Is there a way I can connect to the management console (of either Router I guess) regardless of which WAN link is active? I've got one or two settings I need to tweak that's all. The Asus XT12 is responsible for DHCP / LAN clients.

I started Googling and I dunno what I'm looking for lol. Static Routes, but that seems like if I want to direct traffic certain ways, which I don't. Then I thought should I enable RIPv2 on the two Gateway Routers?

Perhaps it isn't possible?

Cheers. :)

Have you tried setting the primary/secondary WAN connections in reverse order, so the nominated/non-dedicated WAN port is the Primary, and the default WAN is the secondary?

Have you tried contacting Asus for support and advice?
Not yet - I thought it might just be an easy-ish network question. I can always ask them though for sure.

I can give that a go and see if I get the same issue, thanks. It's no biggy but it would be awesome to be able to jump on either regardless of the WAN link in use. Tricky though as I think the issue maybe the subnet / IP assignment. With them both being differnet providers, the WAN IP assigned is dynamic and changes. It's not like I can just jump on 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 (for example) to gain access.
