My NZXT Lexa S case has 4 external fans that came with it and the fan control doesnt work so the fans are controlled by the PSU (Corsair Builder 600W) and whenever I play a game after 5-10 min the PSU decides to run them all at 100% which gets very loud.

Is there anyway to control these external fans through the PSU via software?

Not possible.

you need either a fan controller that fits in a front drive bay as you say your cases controller is knackered, or some motherboards do allow fan speed adjustment by software using a windows based overclocking and hardware utility.

That may work, but you will need to put the fans onto motherboard headers to allow control over them.

maybe, dont quote me:D

i will try and look if there is a connector for it but im pretty sure there is only a male and female 4 pin molex and a connector for the inbuild fan control.

I didnt even connect the molex to the psu but connected it to the fan control the fans work but the dials in front of the case dont change the speed of the fans which is really weird
