Hi all

I have windows 10 and I'm trying to find a way to hide the password option on the login page so that the user is forced to use an actual PIN

I don't want them to see a password option is this possible please

Not at home (in front of my Win 10 PC), but yes... there is a setting that you can toggle to change from PW to 4 digit pin.

u can't hide the password option on the sign in screen

of course you can no idea why you would say this?

To remove the password login part what you need to do is

Open a run box ( Windows key + R )

Type in netplwiz

a box will come up at the top of it will say " Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer " Un tick that box and press apply. When you do this you will be prompted to add your current password required to log into the account put it in and restart. Walla no more password needed.

doing what your suggesting would skip the login screen.. the OP wants the login screen for entering a pin only, and remove the password entering option... which can't be done.
