have you got the phone cable to plug into the computer?
if you have, can you use software like MyPhoneExplorer, or Nokia's own PC Suite, and should be able to take them off using that, which doesn't require any phone key presses (or perhaps one)
plugging the cable in gets no response, it sounds like its asking me to input some settings into the phone before it will work, but i cant see anything on the screen. just simply "plugging it in" and using pc suite does not work.
Ok there are 2 methods to do this (I had the same problem once). When you plug in the cable wait a bit and then press the left soft key (ie ok) this might allow you to accept the link to the pc suite on the PC.
The 2nd method is to get another Symbian phone and press the correct buttons in sequence on the phone without a screen to copy the contacts to the sim card. Then you can take out the sim card and copy the contacts to a new phone. - Make sense?
