A few days ago I bought my first wireless epson all-in-one, and I can print but not scan from pc wireless.. Ive only installed the printer driver and scanner that I downloaded from the net

Basically has anyone been able to get a wireless all in one printer to scan from the pc without the usb being connected???

Sorted, in the scan settings theirs a usb or network option. I have another prob tho, on wireless my ink monitorings dont work. Any idea how to fix that??

Ive tried everything but I cant get my ink levels to come alive and its the same on both computers, 1 with xp and the other vista?????

Edit: I use comodo firewall,, that could be stopping it, but I have no idea what Im looking for in comodo??

It shouldn't be a firewall... Check the advanced settings, and see if you have an option for "support bidirectional stuff". This is what gives you the Ink levels, having it off means you get nothing.

The bidirectional is ticked.... ummmm Im gonna give up with the ink levels before long, cos its doing my nut in..... Surly if its printing ok, that means the communication between the printer and computers are fine??

my firewall was stopping the connection between my Laptop and the Lexmark, everytime i want to scan i have to make my laptop visable so the wireless Lexmark can scan in. So maybe it is the firewall??? :)
