Anywhere to get a database from?

Not really software as such but is there a way I can get a database to use for telemarketing? Ive just started up as a one man band business and am looking to attract some new clients but having enquired into telemarketing companies they are shockingly expensive and I cant justify it as yet as they dont guarentee business (obviously)

I know I could just go through the yellow pages but a friend said that you can get a database that has contact details on etc.

Can you get these from anywhere or do you have to pay a fortune for them?

I beleive the banks are good for getting peoples details these days, although you may have to route about a bit in the bins. Still, at least this way you have their credit card and banking details, just phone them up to let them know their stuff is on the way...

Next question - can you get wireless internet in jails these days? Hopefully I will still be able to run my business from inside :eek:

Yes for when I get banged up for identity thefy after raiding the banks bins
